Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you for your interest in our club. We are located on 54 Line Street,
in Glastonbury, near the boundary between Manchester and Glastonbury (near the Manchester Country
Club off route 83). We have 3 Har-Tru courts (open, depending on the weather
from early Spring to late Fall ) and 3 all - weather Omni courts that are
open all year. In addition there are: a club-house, covered patio, bathroom
and a shower.
The courts do not get an excessive amount of play and a
reservation system has not been required. Each member receives keys
to the gate enclosure and the courts are open for play everyday, all
day. The courts are not lighted for night play. Members may bring
guests for a small fee ($10) with no limit of
visits for each guest. Members are encouraged to make suggestions to
the Board, vote at annual meetings, elect Board members and serve on the
Board. There are weekend monthly events for doubles with refreshments and an
Annual Board Meeting and Picnic at the Club. Your membership includes free
group lessons by the Club Pro and private fee-based lessons if desired.
The annual fees for 2010 are $325 for a single membership, $470
for a couple and $20 for each child over 9 years up to age
23. (Under 9 – free).
There is no initiation fee
required for a new member to join the club.
